Come At Me

I want to thank ALL of you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me. It's the community of CrossFit and my blog readers that have kept my spirits up during some of these trying times overseas. No words to describe my gratitude.

Speaking of life overseas, it's busy!

My athletes keep me forever entertained! You couldn't ask for a more committed and motivated group than we have here on Arifjan. I could be having the worst day: homesick, tired, stressed, but I walk into the box, get ready for class, and after my hour or few hours of coaching are over, my mood has completely switched! I'm present. I'm energized. Those small things that I was turning into BIG things in my head, are always put back in perspective.

That's the beauty of CrossFit and community.

I have to keep this quick, but training for Regionals is going well and it is a BLAST! I wouldn't be able to get through ALL of this volume without my awesome training partners. *Shoutout to the Wolfpack.

I have started working with Big Dave Tillman out of CrossFit Cedarpark (Madathletes.com) and in two weeks, I've made some surpising progress. That's probably because I'm still a relatively novice athlete. Haha, so I still make progress every day. Whatever Regionals brings, I'm going to give it all I got, that's all I know.

I did just PR my split jerk at 180 pounds ... Happy dance!

Love you guys! Until next time ...

  1. I swear more blog posts need like buttons that the author actually sees. You're awesome and I love it!

  2. Don't forget to put your GoFundMe link in every post so it doesn't get buried! I gave already but seeing it stay in the mid 60%'s is making me nervous for you!
