3 Block Brunch and GOT

I just realized that part of my Amazon Prime account also includes free streaming of movies and videos! *face palm*

Since I have a whopping total of four American channels here in Kuwait, this is AWESOME! Hulu and Netflix also don't work out here very well (there's ways around it with a VPN, but sometimes that doesn't work, either), so I feel seriously deprived. I can sometimes watch it, with a very slow connection, on my iPhone (pfffft). The view out my window is better than that.

So, per everyone's Facebook feed, it looks like The Walking Dead just started? What about Game of Thrones? Anyone know where and how I can watch that?

You help me out with that, and I'll help you out with this:

Brunch this morning was divine!

Peanut Butter Quinoa Scrambled Eggs
topped with
Strawberry Chia Jam

Serves 1

2 eggs + 1 egg whites
1/3 cup cooked quinoa
2 tablespoons natural peanut butter
1.5 tbsp chia seeds
3/4 cup whole strawberries

Scramble your eggs together in a skillet, throw in the quinoa to warm. Dump the peanut butter over the top and stir it all together so that it melts and incorporates together. Plate.

In a small bowl, microwave the berries for 1 minute or so, macerate with a fork. Add chia seeds and allow to "gel" for a minute or two. Add a few drops of liquid sweetener (I love NuNaturals Stevia drops) and layer on top of your eggs! Add a sprinkle of cinnamon or for some fun texture, try a few unsweetened coconut chips.

  3. I'm living in Spain and I use the Mediahint extension for Chrome to watch Hulu and Netflix. It works like a dream! If you don't use Chrome, there's also Hola for Firefox. Good luck!
