My Crazy Schedule

Let's talk about my schedule!

3:45am - Alarm
3:55am - Wakeup, wash face, brush teeth, dress, etc.
4:15am - Leave house
4:45am - Arrive at safety checkpoint on Camp AJ
5:00am - Pass safety checkpoint, finish driving to work
5:15am - Mobility, warm up before workout
5:30am - CrossFit
7am - Shower
8:30am - Breakfast
9am - Work
2pm - Hour lunch break (packed from home)
6pm - Off work, heading home
6:45pm - Arrive home.
6:45-7:30 - Get ready for tomorrow: unload bags, wash dirty tupperwares, pack lunch, breakfast, protein shaker, pack tomorrow's work clothes, clean towel, lay out gym clothes, etc.
7:45pm - Maybe eat a light dinner, usually a Quest bar with nut butter on it.
8pm - Wash face, brush teeth, get ready for bed, chat with room mate
8:30 Relax in bed before falling asleep ... Either reading a book or catching up with everyone on Facebook and Instagram,
9:30 Asleep *fingers crossed*

I love working 9-6, because it gives me the opportunity to work out in the morning. And I've finally gotten back into a CrossFit routine. My beat up, sore body is proof. :)

I really need to prep ALL of my meals a week ahead of time. That would probably save me almost 30 minutes in the evening.

Showering and getting ready on Camp AJ is quite a chore. The shower trailers are pretty scary. There are no outlets or plugs, so doing my hair is out of the question. I wait until I get into my office, and as I'm eating my breakfast, do my 'do. ;)

I love my room mate. I love CrossFit Arifjan. I love that I finally have my own company vehicle (though, how long it will be mine is unknown), I love being able to WOD first thing in the morning!

All in all, I feel really blessed, and pretty happy. The first few weeks were rough. But, everything is falling into place. :)

Alright, alright, enough talking, here's pictures.

Last week I was able to help out during CFAJ's Fundamentals class. It was huge. Which is exciting! Young CrossFitters, may the force be strong within you.

I've literally become the crazy bag lady. I carry my purse, my shower/clothes bag, my lunch bag, and a "work" bag, with my laptop and files and such in it. It's insane.

I've made it a point to relax by the pool (or even swim a few laps) in the AM on my days off.

Now that I'm driving and have my own vehicle, I feel so much more independent, which makes me so happy! I've been out a bit exploring the city, but avoid the traffic circles here like ther plague ...

I love the mornings when I can sleep in and make myself breakfast though. Bacon, berries and my favorite 2-ingredient Paleo pancake. Heaven. <3

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got more work to do. :)

What did you have for breakfast this morning?
What's your favorite fruit?
Favorite thing to do on your day off?

  2. So good to see that you are getting into routine! I love love LOVE routine and hate when it changes (mine recently changed about a month ago too), so I know how good it must feel!

Breakfast this morning was two egg muffins (mixture of Applegate sausage, mushrooms, red onion, and spinach) with a sprinkle of feta on them and a side of cherry tomatoes.

My favorite fruit (at the moment at least) is Honeycrisp apples! I am obsessed when they are in season. Smoother some sunflower seed butter on them and it's heaven!

My favorite thing to do on my day off is relax! I am looking forward to this Sunday. Rain is in the forecast and I plan on catching up on the show "Scandal." My roommate just caught up on all the seasons and loved it, so I think I may hop on the bangwagon so we have a roommate bonding show. :)

  3. Making some bacon & eggs right now!! I used to have a really crazy schedule like that when I was working two jobs. It was worth it at the time, but I don't miss it. I love to sleep in on my day off. I'm so cool.
