Did You Know?

Did you know that deficit handstand push ups are the ultimate suck fest?

Did you know that Game of Thrones is the best TV show, ever?

Did you know that I still don't know how to dress myself? I still text my big sister for fashion advice.

Did you know that I had over an inch whacked off my hair at the salon? I was terrified.

Did you know that every girl needs a pair of Daisy Dukes and wonderful friends to wear them out with?

Did you know that In-N-Out pays their employees $10.50 an hour to start?! And that there are multiple locations in Dallas?

Did you know that there are offices you can visit in various regions where you can pick up your passport same day? No need to send anything off or wait weeks for it in the mail.

Did you know that Kombucha looks like dinosaur snot is a great source of probiotics (healthy bacteria) for the intestines, with loads of vitamins, and detoxification properties to cleanse the body and support a healthy immune system?

Did you know that coconut milk represents a saturated fat consisting of medium chain fatty acids (MCFA)? Scientists have long recognized MCFA's like lauric and capric acid for their anti-microbial and anti-viral properties. The body uses MCFA's for energy, and does not store them as fat.

Did you know that it's my birthday tomorrow? The big two-six! I have a feeling this is going to be the best year yet!

Favorite burger place?
Do you drink kombucha?
Have you ever traveled or worked abroad?

  5. Happy happy birthday, Courtney! I've been saying for years that I need to get a passport, but haven't jumped on it since I haven't needed it. Which is kinda depressing... :( Enjoy your birthday!

  6. I had to give up gluten six years ago, so I haven't had a good burger since then. I would love any fast food sandwich at this point. deprivation.
I actually like Kombucha and buy it sometimes, but it's expensive, so maybe one bottle when I get groceries.
I have never been out of the country, except a million fishing trips to Canada with my family. I went to Hawaii in January. At least I think I did. It feels like a dream. Such a beautiful place. I left with 28 degrees and snow swirling. Next thing I know, I'm in 80 degrees, sunshine, and palm trees.
So where are you going that you need a passport?
    And HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

  7. I have studied and traveled abroad multiple times. Most important thing to remember: You will not need HALF of what you pack. Wherever your travels take you, just take a moment to breathe in the scenery. Be safe! :)

  9. Oh my gosh Courtney Happy happy BIRTHDAY!!!! SO excited for you and I hope you have the best time. Also, you are looking hot hot in those pictures missy!
And if fashion was lulu shorts and a sports bra, I think I'd have it covered. Anything past that and I might as well be drowning.
So happy you posted...was missing ya!

  11. Happy Birthday!

I've had Kombucha before, there are some flavors that are better than others and it's definitely a shock to the system when you take that first sip! But, you get used to it!

I've only traveled abroad, never worked abroad, although I think it would be awesome to do that someday!

  14. This is irrelevant to this post but I just bought my first polar HRM and I remember a post were you mentioned after burn, how do you figure that out? Do you just monitor for a certain amount of time or till your heart rate goes below a certain amount? Any info would be greatly helpful.
I do drink Kombuch, it helps a lot with tummy issues, I also don't liek sugary drinks so the slightly acidic taste is right up my alley. I really like the Dr. Brew brand. I lived in Spain for a semester abroad and loved it, my degree is in international business because i love traveling so much. What fun place are you going?
