Wedded & Wonderful

I'm a big, fat, hopelessly romantic, emotional sap.

I cry at church. I cry when I hear certain songs on the radio. I cry during dog food commercials.

And I cry during weddings. I cried a lot during this one.

The happy couple :)

Sexiness wears thin after a while, and beauty fades. But to be married to a man who makes you laugh every day, ah, now that's a real treat.
-Joanne Woodward

I had my own white gown by the time the ceremony was over, a gown of crumpled Kleenex.

His & Hers wedding cakes! Love.

A few more photos of the night ...

It was a gorgeous wedding! And I had such a blast with old friends and new friends.

But I think this little man stole the show. ;) He was drunk on cake.

Bourbon, cake and dancing, oh my! I stumbled home, crashed for a few hours, then met some friends at the gym for a WOD.

Thrusters were at 75#
Kettlebell swings were at 1 pood
Burpee box jumps were done on a 24" box

Note to self: My knee to elbows suck.

Midterms coming up this week. Time to get my study on.

The struggle is real.

1. Tell me THREE things you're going to spend your SUNDAY doing?
Exercise, meal prep, studying

2. What's your favorite part of weddings?
Open bar! And cake. Cake for days!

3. How long did it take you to find your current job?
I'm on the job hunt now and wow, it's slow and painstaking. :(

  1. 1. Finish moving all my stuff out of my apartment; return a pair of shorts to the Gap; and family dinner to celebrate my move!
    2. Open bar and cake...it's a tie!
    3. Since I started my own business it started right away, but took a while to get established. I'll be job hunting once I get down to Texas next week!

  3. Three things on Sunday = Cleaning, Run 3 miles, Relax and watch Dexter tonight!
My fave parts of weddings are the toasts and the dancing. You never know what's going to happen!
I wasn't actually looking for my current job when it fell in my lap. I was waitressing and bar-tending at a local tavern and hadn't taken my physical therapy licensing exam yet, but got offered a job by the PT that was leaving when he was in to eat dinner at the tavern one night. It worked out perfect!
