I'm Just a Hug Away From Saving Your Day!

I'm blogging with every single light in the house on. Even the oven light is on. The hall closet light? Oh yeah, light it up!

I'm scared bonkers right now after watching Evil Dead. It was one of the most gore-filled films I've ever seen. WHY I saw it, I have no clue. Probably because I'm trying to be an awesome wife - my husband LOVES scary, horror films. Why can't he love Care Bears?

If only they would have been there to save me from all the blood, and the guts, and the puking and the bleeeecccchhhh. It was like The Exorist, on steroids. It wasn't like those cheesy horror films, oh not, this shizz was real as fugg looking!

In other fun news, I made a super amazing Protein Molten Mug Cake last night, that blew my mind.

If I get some good feedback, I'll post the recipe. :)

How sad are we that the CrossFit Open is coming to a close? How do you feel you did, performance wise? Was this your first Open?

The Open may be coming to a close, but that just means REGIONALS are upon us! I will be cheering on some of my favorite Athletes in the SOUTH CENTRAL region. Yes, that's right, I'm heading back to Texas!

And ... I'm signed up to Volunteer. Interested?

1. Are you planning on spectating at your Regional event?

2. Favorite late night snack?

3. Do you like horror/scary films?

  7. I hate hate hate scary movies of any type. I like creepy or slightly twisted sure, but scary no.

I after seeing too many horror movies, and crying after watching one in college, I finally put my foot down and straight up refuse to put myself through movies I don't want to see.

Luckily hubs doesn't have much interest either :)

  8. I would love to see the recipe! :)

And, I absolutely hate "newer" scary movies as I feel like all they do is compete to see who can have the most gore and guts and I don't want to see that! I love older scary movies like "Carrie". My husband doesn't like them either, so I'm lucky! We watched the new show Bates Motel and that's about as scary as we get!

  18. This was my second Open. Last year I had only been doing CrossFit for a few months and there were a couple WODs where I couldn't even log a score of 1! This year I got (reverse grip) chest to bar pullups for the first time, snatched #75, made it through 18 double unders, and killed some #95 clean & jerks! Definitely planning to spectate at the North West regionals!

Favorite late night snack is definitely nachos with salsa.

    Hate scary movies.
