I am WHOLE again!

I'm baaaack!

In Texas, that is!

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas! The husband and I had a quiet day, just the two of us at home, exchanging gifts, making dinner together. I had a few clients, so I was working off and on, but did manage to get some pajama time in over the course of the day. 

It was just a good day of eating, drinking, and merriment!

But I was so ready to officially begin my two and a half weeks of vacation on Wednesday evening! 

As sad as I was to leave my sweet cheeks ... 

I was so excited to get on the plane!

I made my flight, just barely. ;) I don't think I've ever run that fast during a WOD, let alone through an entire airport. 

The two hour flight flew by, literally, thanks to this adorable book. I love a good Nicholas Sparks novel. Sigh. <3

But DAMN, it feels so good to be back. So good.

I am whole again. :)

With my friends at my side, I can conquer anything. Even brutal, BRUTAL workouts like we had this morning. Hot damn.

Have fun with that one! It took us about 40-45 minutes to finish it. I mucked it up at the end, by running an extra 200m forward and backward, and for some odd reason thought we were doing 50 double unders, not 20. Dyslexic, much?

We did the Paradiso CrossFit Endurance WOD, 8-hours long, over the summer. That was a burner.

  2. That is a monster workout! I love how you and your husband were doing handstands together on Christmas--looks like you know how to have fun together. :)
    I just got a Fitbit for Christmas, have you heard of them? I hadn't until my brother got me one. It's an accelerometer that tracks the steps you take, the calories you burn, and even how much sleep you get and how efficient that sleep is. It's pretty cool but I'm not very impressed by its calorie calculation, since I do a lot of weightlifting and it can't really account for that! Anyway was just wondering if you'd heard of them/thought of getting one!
