Your Waffle Is Showing

What a weekend!

James flew home from Fort Jackson on Friday night; he's now a Recruiter!

On Saturday we didn't skip a beat. Our workout consisted of a mile-long sled drag (65 pounds for the women and 95 for the men) followed by a short metcon.

I finished the sled drag in 24:32 and the metcon in 6:07.

20 burpees
20 kettlebell swings (55/35)
20 SDHP (65/95)
20 burpees

We went and saw Prometheus yesterday afternoon ... I think I feel an ALIEN inside me.
Go see it!

My breakfast this morning was the bomb dot com. I am loving the huge batch of Paleo waffles I made and keep in the freezer. A few minutes in the toaster oven and they're better than fresh baked! (Something about the banana enhances the flavor, like banana bread a few days after it's been baked.)

Are you guys tired of all of this waffle porn?

We are trying to relax as much as we can before shizz starts getting crazy with clearing post, packing, moving, car shopping ...

Yes, I repeat, someone is on the hunt for a new car.
So, what do you drive? Why did you choose it? Do you love it?

  1. Love a happy sweaty couple. We have a Pontiac... lol... it's the most underwhelming, but well-functioning nondescript car ever. I mostly drive my little cruiser bike!!

Cars? Honda. They never let you down. And their new CR-V model is pretty slick. Just sayin'.

    1. You will not regret the investment! I'm looking to perfect a savory waffle recipe to use as "bread" for sandwiches and with burgers and eggs. Yum!

I do love me some Honda's.

  5. Blue Honda Fit!
It's amazing. they're small and compact but have a surprisingly a lot of room for stuff. the space can be very well utilized.
