4 rounds for time of:
27 Box jumps, 24″ box
20 Burpees
11 Squat cleans, 145 pounds

Today:
10 RFT:
5 Power Cleans, 115#
10 Hand Release Push Ups
15 Double Unders
Time: 19:20

That is 5,750 pounds of weight I moved around this morning in less than 20 minutes. Wow. I am amazed at my body and so blessed that every day I am able to push it to these limits.

I have been super happy with my performance these last few weeks. I am PRing and throwing around weight that I would not have been able to do even a month ago. I don't like to toot my horn, because I know there are so many people out there who are faster and stronger, but I am so proud of how far I have come in the last few months, recovering from a back injury and shoulder injury.

I thought my deadlifting days were long gone after hurting my back. I guess not! I knew what my problem was all along: my form. So, after Klepto, the girls were working on their 1 RM, and the bar sitting there was too tempting to pass up ... as I was putting away my equipment and cleaning up, I took my turn.

at 175, it felt too good.
then at 210, and I couldn't believe it, it seemed too easy. I wondered if I'd added the weight correctly ...
at 230 I was amazed. It felt so good and so easy. If I would have had more time I could have done more weight, I know it. I'm itching to get back to deadlifts. Next week, next week.

For now, my new deadlift PR is 230 pounds!

And maybe one day, 3,233 deads later, I will look like this.

    1. I really tweaked my back a few months ago, I never thought I'd be able do a heavy dead again - looks like resting it was all I needed! :)
