Running More and Moore

It's a good day. :) An hour whizzed by on the treadmill, I got about 6.5 miles in running at an easy 5.5-6.0 mile an hour pace with a level 2 incline. (Treadmill running isn't quite as hard as running outside, apparently because there is no wind resistance, hence the incline.

I didn't need any music, the pace was really comfortable. I listened to a new audiobook instead. 23 going on 63, I swear.

I love to read, yet between textbooks and notes and notecards, that last thing I want to do is read! I like having someone read to me. I just zone out, let my legs go to work and my mind take in the story. Bliss.

I fueled up with half of a Special K bar and of course, coffee! Erry damn day.

These are quite delicious. And for 90 calories, I really appreciate them. In the past, I have been known to pop one in the microwave for a few seconds and crumble it up over up some Fage - kind of like raspberry creme pie, but more protein and way less calories.

Breakfast consisted of an egg poof and a toasted whole wheat english muffin with SF raspberry jam. I'll spare you the details of plain, boring food. Egg poofs can only be photographed so many times!

Meeting the hubster for lunch, then off to do the wifey thing: grocery shop. Am I crazy to really enjoy grocery shopping?

Pretty excited about a few meals planned this week ... maybe because it's the first time I have planned meals? Usually I just buy healthy staples and fly by the seat of my pants. I love the kitchen because it's the place where I don't have to follow a plan. Just summa this and summa that. But I want to make some special dinners for my love dove, so I'm thinking turkey mushroom burgers, shrimp tortellini and some blackbean brownies, nom, nom. Holla for your health and your husbands!

PhotoBooth fun with the furbaby last night.

I win!

He's over it.

Toodles. <3
