After my 12 miler, there was a lot of this going on.
When James got up early for his soccer game, I hit the gym to accomplish this:
I ran slooooow. Just 6.0 miles an hour with my level 1 incline. Sometimes, I'd increase the speed to 6.5 and 7.0 if a good song came on my iPod, but then it was back to 6.0. I didn't want to burn myself out, I wanted to finish strong. And I did, with the last mile at 7.0 and the last 1/2 mile at 8.0 with just a few creaks in my knees. Feel a little like tin man at the moment.
creak, creak, creak.
these crazy biotches were on TV, which made for incredible entertainment what with Daft Punk and Ke$sha banging about in my ear drums.
She is one of my favorites this season, and she looked even better on this finale they had going on; they brought them all back to see how they were doing and what they were doing in there lives. It was inspiring to watch while running my heart out on that damn hamster wheel.
12 miles and done!
(new shorts, I don't like them. They're Nike Tempos, and I have super attractive diaper butt in them.)
2 scoops protein + 1 banana + 1/2 c. almond breeze, split with the hubs.
and an egg white scramble with fresh spinach + red bell peppers + sweet onion + feta cheese
Picked up some goodies this weekend, a new H20 bottle and one of my favorite styles of UnderArmour shirts, the loose fitted v-necks. They're sheer and don't get heavy when soaked.
Tonight we hit up Five Guys for some dinner and snuck it into Hall Pass.
I love the Veggie Burger, no cheese, with light BBQ sauce. :)
James orders something along these lines, which is great, because I may or may not have stolen some of the fries ...
Hall Pass was hilarious. And cute. Aussie lady parts, irish male bits and all, it somehow managed to be cute and heart warming.
Work in the morning. Let's see what happens for a workout afterward, either running, circuit training or a spin class.
Calling it a night,
watching this while winding down. Love it.
